Quality & Compliance
Everything a procurement or QA reader needs to qualify us as a supplier — the specification, the methods behind it, and the documents that arrive with the material. No form, no login.
Protonify Corporation hereby guarantees that the cannabis contained in all released-for-sale batches is produced in compliance with Health Canada standards for Good Production Practices (GPP) under the Cannabis Regulations (SOR/2018-144).
Product Manufacturing Specifications
Three grades, the full release panel with named methods, and our compliance position — in one document. Version 1.0.1, issued 9 August 2026.
What we release against
Every lot is tested and released against the panel below, and a Certificate of Analysis is issued for each one. The methods are named because a specification without a method is not something a buyer can check.
| Test | Limit | Method |
|---|---|---|
| Cannabinoid profile | THC, THCA, Total THC, CBD, CBDA, Total CBD, CBG, CBGA | HPLC-DAD |
| Pesticides | Absent — limits per Health Canada for cannabis concentrate | LC-MS/MS |
| Mycotoxins | Aflatoxin B1 < 2 ppb · total aflatoxins < 4 ppb · ochratoxin A < 20 ppb | LC-MS/MS ESI, Ph. Eur. 2.8.22 |
| Microbial | Aerobic count, yeast and mould, bile-tolerant Gram-negative, E. coli, Salmonella, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa | Ph. Eur. 2.6.12 / 2.6.13 / 2.6.31 |
| Residual solvents — ICH Q3C Class 3 | < 5,000 ppm | GC-FID, USP <467> |
| Residual solvents — ICH Q3C Class 2 | < 3,000 ppm | GC-FID, USP <467> |
| Heavy metals | As < 0.2 · Cd < 0.3 · Pb < 0.5 · Hg < 0.1 ppm | ICP-MS, USP <232> |

What we do not claim
Stating this plainly costs nothing, and it is the reason the claims we do make can be taken at face value.
- GMP, ISO or HACCP
- Not certified to any of them. Protonify operates under Good Production Practices, which is the standard Health Canada requires of a licence holder.
- Organic
- Not certified organic. Produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or GMOs.
- Halal and Kosher
- Not certified.
The evidence behind it
Two pieces of our own analytical work, written up in full rather than summarised:
- THCa isolate: one-year stability at room temperature — real baseline, six replicates, the full HPLC method.
- What a Certificate of Analysis should tell a formulator — and what it should not hide.
